San Francisco, New York? Minneapolis!! Named the Gayest City in the U.S. in 2011, Minneapolis is still today one of the most gay-friendly cities in the country. The epi-center of the friendliness is Loring Park, the “gayborhood” just south of downtown. It’s one of Minneapolis’ most unique downtown neighborhoods and is recognized for its eclectic mix of historic brownstones, old mansions, new apartments, and a variety of small shops. The Park, is the largest in Downtown with ponds, bike, and multiple walking trails.
