SARAH

most unique and wonderful

“The most unique and wonderful place to stay in Minneapolis, in fact, in the entire US. I’ve traveled extensively and there’s nothing like 300 Clifton anywhere I’ve ever been. The rooms are spectacular and immaculate, as are the common areas and the yard. The hosts are the best – friendly and caring. And Madonna and Clifton (two great danes). What can you say about these loveable, gentle ‘family’ members. They’re something special. Everything about 300 Clifton is not to be missed. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else when I’m in Minneapolis. Really, simply the best. I’ve probably stayed there at least 10 times. Great location. Walk to downtown, bus to Uptown. Walk to Loring Park or the Walker Modern Art Museum and so much more. We LOVE 300 Clifton.”

DOUG

JENNIFER

fascinating history

My husband and I enjoyed a candlelight ghost tour of the property last night! It was so fun and the owner regaled us with stories and fascinating history. So many details made such a fun experience. I can’t wait for my next event or stay at 300 Clifton! Thanks, John”

BRITTNI

good conversation

“Absolutely stunning. Rich in history and aesthetically overwhelming. Staff very friendly and down to earth. Good conversation can be heard over breakfast and good company from Clifton the porch pup”

LAURA

very unique and homey

“300 Clifton is a lovely place to stay, very unique and homey! I gave 4 stars because our first night we stayed in the back room of the carriage house and to me the bed was uncomfortable. I let the hotel know the next day and they promptly moved us to another room across the hall, and also mentioned they’d be replacing the mattress the next day. The new room was more than twice as big with a wonderfully comfy bed and lots of eclectic western decor. They even left us a little note and gift to apologize. We enjoyed the tv and game room downstairs very much, the couch was very cozy. They were extremely responsive to all my texts, and brought over shampoo when requested. Street parking is easy, but you can also pay $10 to park in their lot. We did both. They gave us a later checkout, which was much appreciated. All in all, it’s a fun funky place and I’d recommend staying if you’re in the area.”

TONY

better than staying in a hotel

“I stayed in the carriage house in the Hay loft, which was perfect for me and had space enough for another person. The bed had four wagon wheels at the corner, and the fan in the room was a windmill. It was a very private and comfortable place to stay and perfect distance from the University where I was seeing some shows. Staff were friendly and accommodating. So much better than staying in a hotel any day.”

ALISON

nothing short of fabulous

“My stay at 300 Clifton was nothing short of fabulous. The room was beautiful and the bed was actually comfortable. No terrible hotel mattresses at this place! I’ve already booked my return stay. The hosts were so wonderful and I loved our Sunday morning conversation by the fireplace with the dogs. You won’t regret your stay here.”
